This product integrates a professional grade component video switch, an active DC level correction circuit, and an ultra wide bandwidth distribution amplifier.  CSW62 is designed and tested to pass all video signals up to and including 1080p.  The most common application for this device is shown below.

Switching 6 sets HDTV to 2 displays or storage devices

The CSW62 can also support the following applications

• Switching 6 sets digital audio + composite video to 2 receivers
• Switching 6 sets HDTV to 2 inputs of certain TVs to support both 480i & hdtv  (useful with xbox)
• DC level correction and video distribution over long cables to 2 receivers

DC level restoration

CSW62 contains an active DC level restoration circuit.  In fact, this product is the only affordable switch on the market to employ this high end technology!  The circuit will restore the DC levels on the output video to the proper specification levels regardless of what is present on the input.  Why is this important? 

Video distribution

ZeroKey technology

The CSW62 switch can be controlled manually by toggle button, or by remote control.  The remote control interface uses ZeroKey infrared code cloning to map any remote control key to each one of the four inputs.  Here are the steps to program the CSW62 for your remote.

1. Press the toggle button to select the input you would like to train
2. Hold the toggle button for 6 seconds and release
3. The LED indicator for the selected channel will now flash continuously, this means it is ready to be programmed
4. Aim your remote control at the CSW62 and press the key you would like to use to select this input
5. The LED indicator will stop flashing, this means the code has been stored.
6. Repeat for the other inputs

ZeroKey technology is compatible with virtually all remote controls, and does not interfere with the normal operation of the remote.  The best way to use this is to program the CSW62 with the same keys you normally push to switch your AV receiver or TV.  The CSW62 will switch at the same time as your TV or receiver without the need for complicated macros or pushing extra buttons!

ZeroKey programming is stored in flash memory, and you will not need to reprogram even if you lose power.  If you buy a new remote in the future, don't worry, the CSW62 can be reprogrammed as much as you like.
